Born on 4/13/25, these girls were all found in a box on a busy day at the Laredo Shelter where no one noticed them until it was time to close up their doors for the day.
5 wiry pups separated from their momma at only 4 weeks old were taken home by an amazing Veterinarian and fostered for their first week in rescue until they came home to Good Catch. We named them Zelda, Stormy, Vixie (adopted), Wednesday and Mystery (adopted); a goth theme well suited for their black coats.
Their DNA results can be seen in the photos above. Our best guess to how big they'll be is between 30-35 pounds based on the small/medium breed influence.
Zelda (yellow) is a wiry, lean girl who "throws hands" to express herself. She is spunky and sassy and very independent. We consider her to be the family comedian.
Wednesday (red) is the runt of her litter. She's wiry and playful. Nobody told her that she was small, so she's developed a big personality. She loves toys and she loves snacks and when you least expect it, you'll find her in the doggie pool cooling down in the shade.
Both pups have proven to have an affinity for blueberries! These girls are slow growers but they love their snacks and toys.
They are up to date with age appropriate vaccinations (dhpp, bordetella), microchipped and on monthly flea, tick and heartworm prevention. They are ready to go home and we look forward to finding their families who will give them a lifetime of hugs and love which is all they could ask for.
All of our adopted dogs are transported from Texas using only trusted, reputable transport partners to ensure a safe journey to their forever homes up North.
